VirtueRF Microneedling Explained
The VirtueRF Microneedling Platform is the most advanced RF microneedling device available today. The combination of radio-frequency and microneedling has become a proven, non-invasive option to visibly improve skin tone, tighten skin, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
How does VirtueRF Microneedling work?
Microneedling works by applying 36 gold plated insulated sterile microneedles deep into the dermis of the skin.
These needles create microscopic channels that stimulate the natural production of collagen and deliver radio-frequency heat energy at the desired depths to promote remodeling of collagen and elastin that tightens and lifts the skin.

How many treatments will I need?
It is recommended patients complete a series of 3-6 treatments scheduled 4 weeks apart. After you successfully complete your treatment plan you can easily maintain your results with 1-2 treatments per year.
How should I prepare for the treatment?
- Avoid Sun Exposure (1-2 weeks)
- Suspend Accutane (4-6 months)
- No Aspirin or blood thinners, including supplements (7-10 days)
- Confirm with provider there are no contraindications for treatment (will be discussed prior to treatment)
What should I expect the day of treatment?
- Photos will be taken so that your progress can be documented
- Topical Anesthetic will be applied to help with comfort during treatment
- After about 30 minutes, the treatment will begin. The treatment itself only takes about 30-45 minutes depending on the area being treated.
- A microcurrent cooling mask will be applied to the skin.
- The skin will feel warm and will be red after treatment.
What should I expect post treatment?
One of the key benefits of a VirtueRF treatment is that there is no social downtime. The skin may appear red for a few hours but the exclusive post care regimen works to soothe the skin so most will only notice a post-treatment tightening and glow to their skin. Your provider may recommend no makeup for 24hrs and of course, it’s always important to use sun protection.
If a more aggressive treatment is needed, there can be some social downtime for one to two weeks. “Trackings” are mild, tiny crusts that become visible 1-3 days post-treatment. Do not pick at the tiny scabs, but instead, let them fall off on their own
