How does Forever Bare Hair Removal work?
Forever Bare uses light technology to destroy hair follicles at the source so they no longer grow.
Unlike traditional laser hair removal, Forever BARE BBL sends multiple, lower-frequency pulses at a high repetition rate for a quicker, more effective treatment.
What does Forever Bare Hair Removal target?
Forever Bare targets the pigment within the hair shaft meaning the hair has to be dark, no white, gray, red, etc.
Hair removal – only safe and effective on skin types I-V.
How many treatments will I need?
Forever Bare is appropriate for most skin tones and hair textures and eliminates 80-90% of hair in the treated area within 6-9 treatments- depending on factors like hair texture, the treatment area, and skin tone.
If hair grows back, it’s typically finer and less noticeable than before. Once or twice yearly maintenance treatments eliminate hair regrowth in the treated areas.
How should I prepare for the treatment?
Please refrain from waxing or tweezing hairs in the treatment area at least 4 weeks prior to treatment date.
No sun exposure to the area being treated for 4 weeks prior to treatment.
Hair to be treated should be shaved 0-24 hours prior to treatment.
What should I expect the day of treatment?
- Photos will be taken so that your progress can be documented
- Ultrasound gel will be applied to the treatment area
- Immediate sensation and surrounding skin response:
- Sting or rubber band snap feel replaced by dissipating warmth
- Slight erythema (redness)-not always
- Mild edema (swelling)-not always
What should I expect post treatment?
After treatment, you may experience some redness that should go away within a few hours. A few days to a week after treatment you may notice what seems to be regrowth of hair. Most of these hairs are actually being shed as a result of your Forever Bare BBL treatment and are not growing back. No sun exposure to the area being treated for 4 weeks after treatment. Treatments should be scheduled 4-6 weeks apart for best results.
